Went into the store only to find three blonde girls, in their twenties more or less), in green t-shirts chatting to one another at the right, back side of the store. Every other employee in a green shirt was busy with customers, as the store was quite full.
I approached them asked them if they could help me. One of them told me “it would be 45 minutes to see a technician”. I said that that’s OK. She took a picture of my Apple ID and she also took my telephone number. That was at around 14:00h. She also told me I will receive three text messages (2 confirmations for the appointment and the last one to confirm the time or the appointment. Now it’s 14:55h and still no text, whatsoever… I went there again and spoke to a very polite man, in his late thirties ( I assume). He was very kind and nice and helped me. I didn’t want to cause him any concerns, so I didn’t address my issue with those three girls… I think it is important to have a little talk to those girls and possibly retrain them in customer service. I’ve always been treated with kindness and respect in the store and I feel bad I had to write this review…

My support consultant was quite knowledgeable in his Apple configurations, but lacked the deeper technical knowledge, but was very helpful and tried to answer my questions.
The booking system works and I was seen within 5 minutes of arrival and the place was extremely busy. Sometimes Apple products do go wrong.
There is a large range of products on view, with items of various configuration and colour options, providing the user with great hands-on experience.
There is security at the door for good reason. Overall it was a very good experience

Rude and condescending service at the Genius Bar. They don’t give customers enough credit when it comes to technical knowledge. They assume to know more about the customers device than the customer who uses the device day in day out. Every encounter is patronising and aimed at protecting the brand and dispelling your feedback and concerns, more so than providing customer resolution and peace of mind.
