I took my phone in to claim a warranty I purchased for my screen protector back when I bought my phone in 2020. The staff told me I had to go online and have the company send me a new screen protector that Apple would install in-store. I filled out the forum using one of the display computers and was later prompted to take pictures of my phone and receipt. I didn’t have a picture of my phone as I was never told I needed to do this, so I approached an employee who told me to use one of the display phones to take the picture and then airdrop it to the display computer, but once I found a phone, and quickly find that the camera app is blocked, and the computer I was using to claim the warranty reset and closed the tab. Desperately needing a new screen protector, I asked one of the employees if they had any I could purchase, and the employee said they didn’t have any screen protectors in stock for the iPhone 12. I was then directed to a nearby kiosk selling phone accessories that could install a cheap one. The employees at this store are clueless and deceitfully made it seem like I would get a free screen protector replacement if I brought my phone back.

Apple is a company that is willing to mislead its customers into purchasing expensive warranties with conditions hidden in the fine print they could get from a third-party seller for cheaper and better quality, and I don’t think I’ll be giving you my money for a new phone in the foreseeable future.

The Apple Store in Guildford is undeniably bustling and often crowded, reflecting its popularity. Despite the hustle and bustle, the customer service remains commendable, with staff members efficiently assisting amidst the chaos. Personally, I find the online ordering and in-store pickup option more convenient for a quicker and streamlined experience, especially when navigating through the busy store. However, it was disappointing to find that the store was out of carrying bags during my visit. This seems like an oversight for a brand as renowned as Apple, where attention to detail is usually a strong suit. Nonetheless, the overall experience, buoyed by excellent customer service, makes the Apple Store in Guildford a reliable choice, despite the temporary inconvenience.

I recently visited the Apple Store at the Guildford BC branch on June 18, around 6:15 pm, and had a terrible experience at the watch counter with an employee. This guy, an Indian male, was shockingly ignorant and rude. He confused the Sport Loop with the Sport Band, and when I questioned him, he arrogantly insisted he was right. It was clear he had no clue what he was talking about.

Then, I asked for a starlight color watch, and he pointed to a silver one, insisting it was starlight. How can someone so clueless be employed here? His incompetence and arrogance ruined my entire customer experience. Apple, do better in hiring and training your staff!
