Two stars because one of the four team members was helpful today. The first one was so condescending when I arrived to buy a new phone and replace the battery in my old phone, with a prescheduled genius bar appointment.

The second team member, who I purchased a new phone from, barely communicated with me through the process. They helped two other customers while completing my transaction.

The levels of multitasking make a person feel like an afterthought.

After purchasing, I went for my appointment upstairs, exactly on time and waited about 40 mins to drop my old phone with the only helpful/attentive team member I encountered today.

I had to come back three hours later to pick it up. I arrived exactly at the time they told me it would be ready, but I had to wait another hour.

In total, I spent close to three hours in this store today. It wasn’t ideal and the vibes were very weird.

Many staff seem to be socially chatting to each other, or maybe they’re shadowing to learn. But so many disgruntled customers waiting and getting frustrated.

Their systems need to be improved, so you at least feel acknowledged and know you’re on someone’s radar. Usually, I’m extremely patient, but this felt similar to waiting for a gruff, rushed doctor at an overcrowded walk-in clinic.

I give 1 star, but this store does not deserve it. I ordered a MacBook online with delivery to this store. I was informed that I could pick it up. The next day I came but the staff said my laptop was gone and offered to buy another one from them and they said they would refund me for the online order. I got home, called Apple Support, where they told me my laptop was there and that I should go pick it up again (a support person called the store and checked). I went back again and the store staff again said they didn’t have my laptop!!!! But this time I was more persistent and they found him! The Apple employee said she recommended the store give a small bonus as compensation, but apparently the store doesn’t know what. what a quality service, and they are not ready to compensate customers for the inconvenience they create. If there is an opportunity, I recommend to go to another store, because the employees here are not interested in online orders, they are more interested in selling what they have, and not looking for goods ordered via the Internet!

It wasn’t fun dealing with the Apple call center staff. Most of them didn’t know or gave me the wrong info. Knowing this is common, I called repeatedly and escalated to management. I am giving a 5 star review despite this, because the store staff went above and beyond and DELIVERED! It was easy to book/modify a same-day appointment and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They wanted to help, and with the support of the manager, they delivered on my broken phone problem! Congrats, thank-you all and BRAVO!!!
