I’ve been to many apples stores across the world. This has to be the one of the worst Apple Store I have ever visited. Unfortunately for me, it’s in my hometown of Toronto.

Staff need training. They’re good people. But they need better support. They do not greet properly, do not present themselves as professionals. Some dress quite questionably. Furthermore customer support or assistance is quite subpar. Product knowledge with some staff is also alarmingly low. Everyone knows who to go to for help, but god knows that man/woman isn’t getting paid accordingly to babysit 80% of the staff here. Please invest in your employees. They genuinely need training. Provide an email address and I will create steps for improvement for this location. Professionalism means everything in a professional environment.

I went to buy an iMac as a gift for my son. It is spacious, sophisticated and crowded. There seemed to be a shortage of staff compared to customers. Many people waited for staff to consult. I did too. If there was a screen where you could enter the waiting list for consultation, the waiting order would be accurate and good. Each part had a designated number of employees. Someone took my turn so I had to wait a long time. However, when I finally met and spoke with the staff member, she was very professional and helpful. It took over 30 minutes to wait, but it took 5 minutes to pay and get the iMac. Once you meet the person in charge, it doesn’t take long. Thanks to her, my son was able to bring home his iMac today. I wish there were more sales staff.

I went in today after work to inquire about my sleep button not functioning, and the specialist looked for appointment times for me as I did not have one. I came back in 20 minutes for my appointment and got set up with Sara(h) who was an absolute GEM I loved her, she was so fun and so helpful and made the experience so seamless. I see a lot of negative reviews regarding wait times and I think a lot of people forget how the Apple Store works and that employees have specific duties they have to do and areas they need to be in. I did not mind the wait today as I was getting a much needed repair and my apple care was covering it all 🙂

I hope Sara(h) gets a raise or something because she deserves it 🙂
