Gupta and Hemansha tried their best for me even as the Best Buy store was closing!
They tried and could not not get my purchase order of a Portable Air Conditioner and a Water Dispenser because of the glitchy Fairstone website not letting me register onto their website within a set period of time!
By the time I could log onto Fairstone after the weekend at home and look at Best Buy online for purchases both items had been sold out!
I as able to get the last portable air conditioner from Visions Electronics Pembina. And I am still looking for a Water Dispenser.
I’ll check at Best Buy Polo Park again for a Water Dispenser. Gupta and Hemansha are the best!
I will try not to visit the Best Buy Polo Park location at the end of store hours.
Fairstone website was giving us a lot of problems in timing out my initial logging on registration and then locking me out of my Fairstone account until the following week. My Fairstone account works now, but it took so long to fix their problem that I missed out on Best Buy purchases and had to buy at Visions Electronics Pembina. I hope that problem with Fairstone does not happen too often for Best Buy.
I am sorry for the late review because I have been super busy with getting home renovations done.
The guy who helped me, his name started with an ‘A’ and was from Iran was amazing! He was ‘in training’ and clearing all my doubts and everything. The guy in geek squad was amazing too, however thats where it ends.
There was a wrong ticket on a RAM I was going to buy. The guy helping me called the Sales Lead, Jasmine or Jasline whatever her name was. It seemed she had an attitude problem. She was very rude and not polite at all. This is the second time I was here and got the same attitude.
She tried reading me the policy of non ticketed item and all. I clearly told her thats it is priced wrong. Then she said customers may have moved it. I said there is a whole bunch of the same stuff at the same price tag.
She rudely said I cannot do it. I was there to buy the whole gig which was coming over 2000, but it seemed like she was more interested in saving 20-30 dollars than actually selling anything.
PS i used to work for best buy (not this one) and loved it when I was there. I have been in customer service long enough to be polite and understanding and to know there can be a much politer approach to a situation.
This isnt the first time that I was buying from here, have bought tons of stuff, but I guess wont be returning here.
To the guys who helped me out, you both were amazing. Sorry couldnt get the stuff because of the attitude of your sales lead.
