My experience with best buy today was unacceptable. We went to buy Xbox s series 500 GB, since we are from India no one attended us or tried to help us. Same place there where western people and agent proactively asked how may I help you. We where ignored, we went and asked best buy agent to help us. They attended us like we are not going to buy anything, we bought a product worth $800. Then problem started, we understand that we are in French province but agent didn’t knows English. He was providing us wrong rates and finally since we didn’t had any options, we bought the Xbox s. I told this to the manager he didn’t apologise and he just said person didn’t understood what you told. Store didn’t have Xbox ultimate pass that was also very disappointing. Best buy So what can you expect as a customer , please let me know. There was no courtesy, empathy or greetings. You can check this on the camera, we where ignored because we are indians.

Whatever you ask them to do, Best Buy’s customer service WILL find a way to mess it up. Won’t honor promotions? Check. SIM card doesn’t work? Check. Order not cancelled even though they said it was? Check. Charge your card twice (and causing you to incur overlimit fees)? Check. A thousand phone calls to get it refunded? Check. Inaccurate information? Check. Can’t reach the store by phone? Check. The list goes on. And when you ask them to correct their error? Not a chance, all you get is a shrug, why would they care? Even on the off chance that whatever you’re buying there is cheaper than elsewhere, you’ll pay so much and spend so much time on the phone trying to fix their mistakes that it’s not worth the money saved. When you’re spending hundreds of dollars you don’t want the people helping you to be utterly incompetent. There are several other tech/electronics stores in the area – go to one of them.

Ultra slow service, bad advice, I had to return the item because it was not compatible, though I was told otherwise. Appears to be very poorly managed, groups of staff having conversations, I had to interrupt one to get the bad advice. Amazon, love em or hate em, is where I will buy my tech from now on.

Ok, so I got the generic reply from Best Buy saying to go to their contact page and contact them directly… so they want me to leave a similar message to this review? That seems like they want to look like they are proactively doing something about my complaint by replying to my review, but that is all that it is. They already have my complaint. If they wanted to do something about it, they would.
