Was in Best Buy today to buy the SMEG kettle , I was trying to get the beige cream color I waited so long to see if there’s any staff coming so I can ask for the color, I know there’s a sticker on the box indicating the color but the color of the sticker seems a bit off , it looked more yellowy than the cream color I want so I want to make sure , so I don’t have to come back for exchange( it’s a house warming gift to a friend) but there was no one there to help. I saw a staff named Shelly at the appliances counter so I bought the kettle box up to the counter , she was serving another customer her attitude wasn’t so nice to that customer already. They talked for so long and I was in a rush so I just lifted up the cover of the box to see if inside is the correct color that I wanted. I didn’t mess up anything I literally just lift up the box cover to peek at the color , cause there’s no one to help and I only want to buy the correct color kettle. Shelly shouted rudely to me I cannot open the box if I open the box no one wants to buy it . I was so upset that I have to take her attitude when I was trying to buy something and there’s no customer service.

strongly recommend that Best Buy considers avoiding the use of inexperienced personnel during Boxing Day sales, as this can lead to slow and incorrect processes, as I personally experienced. Efficient and knowledgeable staff members are crucial to ensuring a smooth and satisfactory shopping experience for customers.

I had a very disappointing experience at Best Buy Canada, Lansdowne Richmond location.I found an Short Throw, 4K Epson EQUIVISION projector priced at $2,599.99 and planned to purchase it the next day, but when I returned, the price had jumped to $3699.99. Despite informing the salesman about my intent to buy, I was misled in that no mention of a sale ending was written or stated, and felt the price hike was unfair. Management was unhelpful in addressing my concerns, leading to a frustrating experience.

Furthermore, If the salesman had indicated the sale was ending, I would have made the purchase immediately.

The salesman failed to inform me that the price was part of a limited-time-sale, resulting in financial hardship due to the unexpected price increase and preventing me from purchasing the projector at the originally advertised sale price, resulting in frustration and inconvenience.
