The entire team needs customer service training!!! (Those that were working on November 22,2023 around 1pm)

I went to this store because they had the product I wanted in stock; I checked via bestbuy.ca prior to going there.
Upon arrival there were three employees working and all with clients. There was also another person there, I am unsure if he was a staff member or not; he left shortly after I entered (approximately 2mins after).
Upon arrival I positioned myself in line. There were no customers waiting to be serviced; I would be next. It took almost 10mins before someone acknowledged me.
Two other individuals joined the line after me. One of them made a gesture to one of the staff and he came over and spoke to her (Good job to him. Even though he did not greet me when I came in the store and/or asked me to wait because they were busy with other customers he still looked in the direction of the customers that were waiting and he came over and helped the lady).
I have no issues waiting; it could’ve been for 30mins but at least greet me and the other customers that were waiting and inform us that you will be with us shortly.
This to me is common sense.
I hope I do not have to go back to this bestbuy location again. I was extremely disappointed.
I did inform the team member that eventually assisted me with my purchase that the team needs customer service training.
Bestbuy.ca you need to provide your team with the tools to be successful and provide good service; provide your team with customer service training.

2022 UPDATE: met with the manager today and she was very nice.
I wish they had some pop socket auto attachments.

Not especially happy about their customer service at this location. After waiting 10 minutes at gate as there was 3 people inside. A young man asked me what I’m looking for. I say popsocket mount. He says oh ya we have those then goes to check and I don’t see him for another 30 minutes!
Meanwhile a woman working there doesn’t care about anything it seems just wandering around. A Filipino woman sitting on the ground in front of counter, waiting for her cell phone that took ages.
It was a scene that could have played at the theatres lol..
I like the store though and I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars at Best Buy over the years. This mini location is so convenient!

My cell phone was over four years old, and it was time to get a new one. I popped into the Best Buy Mobile in Place d’Orleans, and the store manager, Anita started helping me right away. I had an idea of the kind of phone I wanted, Anita checked what she had in stock, and after some back and forth about the phone’s colour, we both agreed on the forest green one! It was like talking to a girlfriend, which I appreciated. Anita is very professional, extremely helpful, friendly and went above and beyond. It had been a minute since I bought a new phone, and to be honest I was dreading the experience of getting another one. Best Buy is lucky to have Anita! I highly recommend this store, even the other young man Gio helping other clients, was also very professional, and pleasant. You need a new phone go to this shop.
