Amazing customer service as usual from best buy. Today i spoke to Lisa (mobile connestoga mall) about connecting with the northfield best buy to get some service with my son’s laptop issues, and I am in a different city than he is. Not only did Lisa connect all the dots for me and coordinate a drop off so that my son could have a seamless service call on a very urgent and timely situation. But, she also went above and beyond …she was polite, detailed and wonderful and also reassured me that the employees at the Waterloo in King Street North field location are fantastic and coordinated with them on my behalf (which I already know since we purchased our items from them. ) we were indeed beyond happy with their patience and guidance during our purchases as well .. Lisa is an exceptional customer service representative with high-level skills. I have never met her before, but only spoke to her on the phone, but I most certainly would do business with her in the future. Bravo to Best Buy for having some of the best customer service training clearly and making great hires and thank you so much to Lisa for making this stressful situation much easier on my son and myself. As a business owner myself, I know how important it is to have your best people on your front lines and Lisa is definitely a Best a top 10 representative and a next level human.
If I could have rated a zero, I would have! I went into the store with my adult son last night at 8:50 p.m. on Wed. Dec. 21/22 to pick up four phone cases. Nobody came out from behind the counter to offer their assistance, even though there were two employees working, who were not busy servicing other customers. Upon checking out, the purchase came to just under $85.00. The clerk handed me the credit card machine and simultaneously asked how I would like to pay. When I responded, “I’d like to pay cash”, the other clerk said, “No, we’ve closed the register, you have to pay credit card or debit”. No apologies, no explanation, just NO. So, my son and I took our business around the corner to a competitor, who gladly took our cash! Employees need to know that business owners are struggling to make ends meet these days. Sadly, these two workers were simply too lazy to make things work and selfishly closed off the till before closing in an effort to leave right at closing time. Hope the manager uses this as a teaching moment!!!
These guys don’t know what they are doing at all, Had gotten an Apple Watch from them with my rogers account, god knows what they did but I was unable to connect my watch to cellular, they made an error while setting up the entire thing, days later when my bill came from Rogers, it also had a Samsung watch on it! Which was removed later but I still had to pay $70 for some activation fee, for a device that I did not buy or ever had. Would recommend not to go here if you don’t want to face the problems that I am at the current time. Would’ve rated Zero if the option was there.
