I had a bad experience with this location. I brought my iPhone 7 in to get fixed as it wouldnt charge anymore and I told Adam that this was the problem. He had my phone for 4 days and couldn’t fix it. Told me that it was a problem with the motherboard and that I should sell the phone as a parts phone for 150. I sold my phone for 150 bucks which I was happy with until I find out that the guy I sold it to took it to another shop downtown and they were able to fix it with a new charging port. This made me very angry as I sold my phone for 150 and had to pay Adam 30 dollars for not even fixing my phone!! when in turn it was a very simple fix. Adam seemed like a nice guy and had ok costumer service but I would defiantly not recommend anyone using their services as I’m out about 400 dollars now. I could have got it fixed and sold the phone for 500-600. This was at the langford location just so everyone is aware. Hopefully the downtown location has a better idea of what they are doing.

I’ve brought two phones to Blackapple, both needing screens. The first phone they did well, a couple years ago. The second phone was a brand new Motorola Edge, in May of 2023. They did not call me to report that it was fixed; after a couple weeks, I stopped by and the phone was in pieces; the repair person reported that the phone did not work. He asked for more time. So I left. Again, once again, they did not call me. When I finally called, he reported that they had ordered a new part for the phone. I was encouraged. Yet once again, they have not called, amd a couple more months have passed.

I took my phone in to see if it could be fixed by those guys…while looking at my phone the guy working grabbed a piece of my phone and said it was broken and then proceeded to pull a piece off from a loose wire….then he told me they couldn’t fix my phone there as his supplier didn’t have parts for my phone…I’m very unimpressed and will not recommend these guys to anyone…
