I bought a Delonghi coffee machine 15 months ago, to replace my former machine which I had for 5 years. The new machine been back to Boulanger Boe 5 times for the same repair / fault, the first time was one month after buying the machine : A blockage in the coffee bean grinder that results in a warning light and you can’t make coffee. If I empty the machine and drive in the car with it to Boulanger, sometimes the blockage fixes itself, however I take a photo with iPad date to show the SAV the problem that is occurring. Boulanger has a policy which is that a part needs to be replaced 3 times before you can have an exchange/refund. The last time, they kept the machine for 2 months and did nothing. Boulanger seem to think this kind of service is reasonable, that I should empty the (heavy) machine, drive 30 minutes to Agen and keep doing this every month or so. Incredible! I will continue to take the machine back to Boulanger every time it breaks…there is clearly a fault with the machine but Boulanger are not interested. I would advise using the other retailers in Agen for electrical goods as Boulanger’s after sales service is useless and they are not interested in dealing with their suppliers re. Faulty goods …they prefer to lose a customer. Having used Boulanger for my electrical goods for the past 5 years, I have to say this is last purchase I will make from them.
