I’m shock & appalled that this ‘Brixton Computers’ formerly known as CITICOM have the audacity to simply change their business name & continue to trade. It seems the weight of their unprofessionalism & unresponsiveness as Citicom has forced them to take this step.
It’s the same owner now as then. The following statement is the review i gave them as Citicom along with the photo attached of the letter Citizens Advice Bureau instructed me to write to him, but was returned to me unopened & up to this day he has made no move on his part to rectify the situation.
I think it’s only right that the public should know what type of ‘business’ this man is running. You have been warned.

I bought a laptop from them in Jan 2018 & in May 2018 it needed a replacement battery which they told me would cost PS60. I paid it & for SEVEN MONTHS i was told every replacement battery they received were faulty.Also whilst attempting to replace the battery, he also damages the speakers which he still refuses to acknowledge. I said i’ve been more than patient waiting for 7 months & i would like my money back. He then accused me of tampering with the battery myself! Upon seeking the help of Citizen’s advice, they advised me to write to him stating i want my money back or i will take legal action. I’ve written letters 3 times & he has ignored all of them. I am now seeking further legal advice as he has still not given my money back. I recommend you stay far away from this business as it will be a waste of your time & money. He gives the impression of being genuine, but this experience has led me to believe he is not. I wouldn’t even give him 1 star but you have to click at least one for this review to be posted! A deceitful man.

So since posting the above, the THIRD letter i sent to them came back return to sender. I was advised by Citizen’s Advice to write him again but it seems he has no regard whatsoever for the legal process. (See attached letter).He obviously thinks he can rob me & get away with it. It’s a shame because he gives honest independent businesses in the area a bad name. Disgusting & appalling customer service. Do not give your money or time to this man!

Sold me a faulty charger that started to smoke and burn plugged in – a terrifyingly dangerous hazard – and refused to return it because he said he wrote on the receipt paper “no refund”. When I raised that that should only hold up for working products the grown man that works there proceeded to yell at me (girl in her 20s). Horrible horrible experience, big waste of my time and money. Avoid like the plague.

I received a free of charge consultation about what went wrong with my laptop. I was pretty stressed as a previous laptop repair shop was dishonest about their work, and did not fix the problem. Brixton Computers took their time to help me. I am very grateful for their time!
