Got my phone stolen and needed a backup phone repaired as soon as possible and stumbled across this place online.

I got my screen repaired for $200 which to me was a fair price for the part and labour (phone getting repaired now has limited parts and just takes a lot of time to replace screen) I have no problem with that. The sales associate is very kind about my situation and was also very humble to other customers behind me that demanded a little more or was rude to the associate.

The sales associate told me that the phone would be done within a week, which surprised me and got my hopes up because I was anticipating for a 1 1/2-2 week repair because of the lack of Sony parts in North America. At this point I thought pretty highly of this company because they have their logistics straight and can obtain any part on demand however, this wasn’t the case.

I provided an email for them to contact me with because I no longer had a working phone number and that I was willing to come pick it up based on the anticipated date that it would be done. I came in several times but to come in and see that the phone isn’t done is pretty disappointing when the associate said it would be done. I don’t blame the associate for anything, because they are only passing messages from the technicians to the client.

They said that a white screen has been ordered and that the phone will be complete by the end of week. I come in on Friday and the phone wasn’t done and that the screen hasn’t come in yet and that it’ll be done over the weekend. Came in first thing the next week to be notified that the white screen will take longer than expected but there is a black screen available and it can be installed in a few hours. I agreed, and also got the back plate replaced complimentary because of the screen confusion.

Finally got my phone back and there is extensive damage from micro tools where the screen is being lifted to be removed. Cheap phone plastic? Maybe…but I think there should be more caution in removing delicate parts. The new back plate didn’t adhere properly to the phone either. I felt something very off when I first picked up the phone and the back made some sort of tapping noise. It literally popped off when I got back in my car. Old adhesive was still on the back as well as a bunch of grime from previous phone usage. Cleaned it myself because I can’t even trust technicians to do a simple task such as cleaning an area before sticking something on.

Please don’t give customers a completed date if it can’t be done. Two stars because the associate was friendly and just doing her job. Technicians, please do yours!

Do not deal with these people!! I purchased a refurbished phone and the volume was awful. I was told I could get a refund but they kept some money back because they couldn’t reset it. Is this place not a buy and sell that they have techs on hand to take care of these issues!! I had to get my husband to an appt and my mother in law in the hospital in palliative and they’re worried about getting the phone reset!! The day before I was there and dealt with Alice. I told her the phone was inaudible. When I called her she said it was clear. I called another buy and cell who had to confirm to Alice that she could not hear me. Like I wanted to waste my time and lied about the issue. Basically they sold me a phone that was not working. She gave me some options and one of them was a refund. While I was there, customers were shopping and she gave them all different prices for the same product!! How nice, telling the customer one price and charging another. I also bought a case and paid cash thinking I was getting a discount but that wasn’t the case. She just took the balance and tacked it onto my bill. I mulled it over and decided to take my refund. After not receiving my full refund I was not happy. Please do not use this company!!!

This is a rebuttal to Alice’s answer to my review. I was not taking a refund to be left without a phone whether or not it was inaudible. I needed time to get a phone from a reputable company. Also please note that she did not address any of the other issues that I mentioned. By the way, I did not yell at Esra right off the bat until Alice refused to give the full refund and Esra had to bare the brunt of me yelling at her!!

Buy N Cell is amazing! I will never take my phone to Samsung for repair ever! Samsung is a rip off! Here is what happened…I have a Samsung S20FE that I purchased 16 months ago. The other day it just randomly went straight to a black screen when I tried to send a text. It would turn on, show the Samsung screen then go black again. It was fully charged and I could not get to my home screen or anything else. I took my phone to my carrier and they told me it sounds like the motherboard take it to Samsung because they couldn’t help me. I took it to Samsung and they told me they needed to replace the motherboard and that they could not save any of my data or pictures. I was devastated. Then they told me it would cost approximately $550 to do this. I left and took my phone with me to process this information. Then a friend recommended I try Buy N Cell for a second opinion. I figured it would be a waste of time because if Samsung can’t save my pictures no one else can. Well boy was I wrong. Samsung is nothing but a rip off. Buy N Cell said it wasn’t the motherboard at all. They ran their own diagnostic and discovered the problem was my back camera. They replaced my back camera for $85 and I didn’t lose any data. All my pictures and data was saved. My phone works perfectly. I love my Samsung phone but I will never take it to Samsung again. They just want your money. The staff at Buy N Cell were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! So thankful I brought my phone here!!!
