I have a custom water-cooled PC which developed a hot spot over time on the graphics card (approx 7 yrs old but I didn’t want to get a full replacement just yet). So I contacted several repairers and none of them wanted to take on the job, until I was recommended to CA computing Ltd. From the get go Chris was very professional and knowledgeable on the subject of water-cooled setups which put my mind at ease greatly and I left the PC with him. Chris later confirmed the issue I had suspected and an recommended we clean all the water-blocks, replace the pads, thermal paste and tubing. The job took just over a week (draining/flushing loops and cleaning corrision is no doubt a laborious process) and Chris sent regular updates and pictures via whatsapp showing the progress (attached below). Once everything was put back together he was able to confirm the GPU temp went from about 105 degrees under load to 35 which is huge! Not only that the tubing now looks brand new and the acid green coolant really pops! Chris even fixed a GPU lighting issue that Overclocker’s failed to address when the PC was built and installed a GPU support mount to prevent sagging. It goes without saying, all this work has breathed new life in to my aging PC and I’m over the moon with the fantastic level of service, care and attention Chris has given this. CA computing will always be my first choice for my computing needs from now on!

Had some issues with my laptop and spoke to Chris over the phone to see if he could sort them out. Trusting someone you’ve never dealt with previously always makes you apprehensive but Chris immediately put me at ease because he came across as very knowledgeable and quoted a reasonable price to sort out the problems. I subsequently dropped off the laptop at his shop and a couple of days later collected it with all issues resolved. I can’t speak too highly of Chris. His communication was excellent as was his workmanship and timescale. I am only too happy to give Chris 5 stars and will certainly use him again and recommend him to friends and family. Overall a very pleasant and satisfactory experience.

I contacted Chris in a panic…. I had lost 20,000 files including priceless photos which were stored to an old Microsoft work account. I’d had our IT department look at it and they advised it was impossible to replace as the email no longer existed and the company had closed down. I spoke to Chris who met me later that day to look at my laptop and to also check an old back up hard drive which was corrupted. Thankfully Chris managed to salvage 18,000 files from my back up hard drive…and I’ll be eternally grateful. Would thoroughly recommend Chris extremely professional, knowledgable and very helpful
