It’s an okay place, the people are nice and they are helpful but only to a point, if you don’t really know a lot about what you’re talking about they will take advantage of you I came in looking to build a computer told them that my budget was $2,000 at the most the woman told me that we wouldn’t even go over 1500 so then she prints off a paper show me apparently decent parts for $4,000 I’m glad I have friends that literally make computers for a living so they can point me in the right direction. Would also like to add that their warranty is only good if you can prove that the parts were faulty, according to a manager and one of the employees that I spoke to, the warranty only covers corrupted parts, if there’s any physical damage or water damage even if it is accidental, the warranty does not cover it so basically they’re up charging you on the warranty and if you want anything done to your computer, according to them, it has to be their parts and you have to pay for all of their stuff, you can’t bring your own. So I’m not going to say they’re bad but definitely do your research before going in.
Edit: would also like to add that for a computer place, with apparent “experts” their website is really laggy and buggy and it’s honestly a miracle if you’re able to search up anything.

I had them back up my drive, change out my motherboard and re-install windows. They had said that this was the only way to fix my internet connectivity problem. They had said that it was due to corruption. Not only did they completely botch the back up, resulting in me losing years of music projects that I put hundreds of not thousands of hours into, but my computer barely works on its new motherboard. It crashes constantly, is slow, and can’t handle many types of software that my old motherboard could handle just fine. I did some digging and found that the motherboard they installed is reviewed horribly, and that it’s significantly lower quality than my old one. I think they put it in because they struggle to sell it otherwise. I brought it back over the constant crashing but they said it wasn’t happening when they had it in there and so did nothing to fix it.

I’m honestly stunned at the poor quality of work here. I’ll be looking to another business to see if my old motherboard can be re-installed, since I don’t fully believe that this was even a necessary step from the outset. I also still have corrupt files causing problems for me that can only be solved by re-installing windows for a second time. Definitely wouldn’t trust them with a personal device ever again

bought a lenovo legion laptop here probably a little more then a month ago, was using it and the space bar key is sticking, took it to canada computers because they have a 90 day defective warranty, according to them its considered a physical damage, not defective. how is it considered physical damage when its a common thing that happens to these laptops if you search it up on google? its obviously defective how does a key just stick from normal use? I ended up going through lenovo for the warranty, at least lenovo honors their warranties unlike canada computers. why have a 90 day defective policy when you don’t even honor it? use to like buying things here the people working there are great know their stuff but when it comes to warranties when buying something here good luck trying to claim it
