PC Annual Maintenance:- Must improve staff training in processes and procedures – and ensuring they are implemented and maintained.
PC left at store with the liklihood of a 3-day turnaround. The store would call me when it was ready. I was handed a Reference No.
1. No call came.
2. Day 5 I called the repair agent. They didnt recognise the Reference No.
3. I accessed the repair agents website, entered the Reference No. “Not recognised”.
4. Visited the store, fuming and anxious.
5. A queue!!!!!!!
6. I asked if there was more staff available? An assistant did a PA announcement.
7. 4 minutes later an assistant arrived.
8. He checked the Reference No. on the in-store computer file. Looked around.
9. The PC was on a shelf 3 metres away! Been there 3 days!!!!!
10. Relieved. Still fuming. Spoke to a manager.
Conclusion: Seems to me that I managed my repair and not the company I was paying for the (dreadful) service.

I wanted to buy a fridge and found one I liked. Asked 4 people if they could help me, over the space of 30 mins, only to be met with the response that they were too busy, and someone will come over. There was no system for being seen in place, and the staff were not bothered. On my way out, another member of staff (who appeared to be senior) asked if I was okay. I asked if they could help and she said there are over people waiting and they are I understaffed. Still no indication of when I might be helped was given. I had my baby with me and am pregnant and couldn’t wait indefinitely for poor service. This level of service is extremely poor and, as one of the leading electrical stores, totally unacceptable.
Visited Currys lunchtime on a weekday . Store was busy but a Manager came to us and apologized and assured us we would be helped as soon as someone was available. We waited about ten minutes and Edward came to us . He was very polite and patient and explained everything we needed to know . We felt he gave us his full attention and didn’t hurry us at all. We were very pleased with the whole visit and look forward to using our new purchase.
