I bought an MSI Pro Z690-A motherboard some time ago. I installed it in my new PC, and started having issues with it shortly after. The usb devices would start disconnecting and reconnecting once in a while, but they wouldn’t connect back, I had to re-plug them in for them to work. I sent the motherboard in service and they told me they can’t accept it because the flash BIOS button on the back is broken. I had photo proof that the button was perfectly fine when the motherboard was with me, so either they broke it, or more likely it broke during transport, which is not my fault. But regardless, I persuaded them to still check the issue that I reported with the motherboard because it had nothing to do with the flash BIOS button. The issue was checked, and I was informed that nothing was wrong with the motherboard. After some more phone calls, I finally told them to just send the motherboard back to me, as I planned on recycling it myself, which I did later. After this I bought a new motherboard, but the exact same model MSI Pro Z690-A from a different store, and I did not have issues any more. Which means the motherboard I bought from Caseking was defective and I should have gotten my money back or a replacement for it. In any case, I already knew what was wrong with the motherboard and just simply bought a new one. I knew from the beginning what the issue was, and Caseking was trying to tell me that it’s maybe one of the USB devices faulty, or the PSU or etc. As far as I’m concerned, my opinion is to stay far away from this store, as they simply just do not respect their customers that spends thousands of Euros on PC components. I also phoned them after changing the motherboard and informing them that I don’t have issues anymore with the new one, so it’s clear the old one was faulty. They refused to refund me or replace it.

Edit: For the reply you sent me in order to cover yourselves up. First up, you are missing some parts of my phone calls to you. Secondly, by saying you received the box with no damage, that means you broke the BIOS button, and then tried to blame it on me. Good thing I had photo proof of this or otherwise you would have blamed it on me. As for proof of the USB ports not working correctly and always resetting my devices, it’s very clear that since I bought a 2nd motherboard of the exact same model, that was the issue. There is no way for a customer to give you “concrete proof” of this outside of me sitting with my phone on my desk 24/7 waiting to record a random event of USB devices disconnecting. I have no time to waste on such petty stuff. I’ve had similar faulty devices and issues like this with stores from Romania and I always got my device replaced no questions asked. Because if I didn’t, I would report the store to the Consumer Protection agency in my country and they would be F’d beyond all belief. You’re lucky I’m not from Germany to know exactly how to report you or you would be very sorry for this situation. You’re also lucky you’re in Europe, because otherwise you would be praying you won’t end up on Gamer’s Nexus channel in the future. 🙂

Ordered a asus noctua 4080 and it arrived without branding and after reporting it they said they will see what they can do. That took a couple of months and they began talking about a replacement or refund and they came to the conclusion that missing branding on a 1600 euro gpu is not enough to issue an rma claim then they said they will contact asus to see if anything can be done and then there was no reply for a month up until today when i sent an email again and they said that the best they can do is offer me 20 euros as compensation for the missing branding. I understand that they cant see into the box when they ship pc parts and that this is a fault on asuses side but offering 20 euros as compensation without a chance for a refund or replacement is very insulting. This whole ordeal took place over the span of 4 months and i am very disappointed at the way this was treated. The responses on the support team are extremely slow sometimes i had to call them directly to even get an answer I was surprised that i even got an answer today on email because when i called i got no answer. I do not recommend buying from their website because if they cant handle a faulty gpu i cant imagine what they do to pre-built pcs if anything happens to them or any other parts that get shipped.
Again not recommending buying from them.

9.2.2024 :Update on the whole ordeal after posting a bad review i got an email the next day and they suddenly had a solution, they now have a used 4080 noctua that a costumer returned and they offered me a used card as a replacment

As to the response below the review just because the transaction was over 2b2 it shouldnt take 4 months to come up with a solution led alone a 20 euro compensation.

As for the used 4080 that i was offerd after thinking about it it makes 0 sense to take the used card over a new one with missing branding.

And to top it all off they offered me the card and told me to change my review to something better. I will not be doing anything of sorts.

Ahh yes the snazy replies for your department was waiting for that, and no you seem to have skipped the part where i typed in the email that i would PAY the diffrance. Seeing the way you reply to other costumers this does not surprise me. But i guess the ego in this company is is enormous, sad to see that German quality and professionalism does not exist anymore and to your replacement note in what world do you think its ok to replace a new gpu with a used one?

I’m an American buyer trying to build a custom pc looking at the store it was very well maintained but the customer service was horrible (just one person) and the man working the front was very rude when I asked did they accept VAT forms I proceeded to asked why and he just made a smart remark. I would have been fine if he gave me an actual reason or said they don’t accept because they are a small business but he gave me the tone and look as if I was looking for a free handout. I ended up getting the pc parts I needed from Amazon. For side note I’ve lived in Germany for 2yrs and have traveled to many countries. I am not adept in pc building but it kinda shuns people from the experience when you have rude people who are in that community. The person at the from desk should work on his empathy. He’d probably bring better business.

Yeah and that’s the difference between making a sale and doing good business on a consumer level. It’s fine to do corporate setting because it gets the job done but when you have a customer who’s spending over 4000EUR or more you learn to take in account good salesmanship. Please don’t try to tell me about German culture that’s nonsense people are people you can’t say a person is the way they are because of cultural identity, if that’s the case Berlins is fairly new by my account since the Cold War
