This is the Castorama closest to my country home. This chain has a lot of great stuff. Prices in this chain are quite high tho.

Why on earth the (rubber) washers for taps and valves are stocked in such a way that customers end up crawling on their hands and knees to investigate what Castorama has hanging on the rack is beyond my comprehension…punishment for shopping there?
The last time I shopped at Castorama, Le Mans, the cashier at the til I at which I paid was sick. I subsequently got a cold that lasted 6 weeks. Dude should not have been at work.
Anyway, Castorama has stuff in stock that no one else carries.
Great for all your DIY needs. Lovely bathrooms and kitchens. Great for paints, and specialised wood treatments stains and waxes. Good selection of woodburners and power tools.
It was a good experience, the shop had friendly staff and a wide range of products. I wish if we havev Castorama in the UK…
