I am really impressed with the service I received from Chris in repairing my sim racing wheel. One of the connections on the board had been broken by me and the wheel would not work with my pedals anymore.

I had already visited 3 computer shops before Chris and all of them declined the work, advising it was too difficult for them to replace the circuitry on the board so that the pedals would work. Chris looked at the wheel and recognised what the issue was and instead of turning me away, he and his brother worked out what the different connections on the board represented and soldered an alternative way around the circuitry board to resolve the issue and allow the pedals to still connect to the wheel.

This was extremely impressive and demonstrated his ability to think around the problem. I was skeptical whether it would work, but to my amazement, the wheel and pedals connected up exactly as you would expect and I was able to use both exactly as before I had the accident.

Hats off to Chris and his ingenuity! I will most definitely return to Chris with any other computer related issues in future.

Here I am again with a second printer problem sorted and a second review. I had a little problem which I aggravated by pressing every button I could. So the printer wasn’t working at all. The nice chap took my details, did not ridicule my mess up, told mevhed get bsck next morning. All sorted two new cartridges fitted at cost, and charged ……a fiver. Both lovely chaps, they don’t talk techy over your head, do things quickly, anddon’t rip you off.

CCR Computers are friendly, don’t patronise even dim old ladies like me , reassure you as to what they will do without charge,( spend time finding out what the problem is free of charge) then tell you what it will cost to fix it and it’s ok to say if it’s cheaper to buy a new one I’d rather do that. They fixed my printer, put a new cartridge in for free and the whole lot came to well under PS30. I’d recommend – have already recommended them- to anyone whose techy stuff isn’t doing what it’s supposed to do. Excellent, lovely chap behind the counter.

If you have any problems printer wise then you can’t beat CCR, I took my printer here as I had an ink issue, Chris sorted it out for me and it’s as good as new, quick, efficient and most importantly no extortionate prices, highly recommended.
