I have been a customer here for years now, I visited on friday 9th Aug. I was trying to sell my old phone due to getting an upgrade, I also like the review I just read below had to wait well over 20 mins just to get to the counter. I shall also point out I had my 2 young children with me so as you can imagine they were clearly over the moon with the wait and I lost count of the times I had to hear “are we next?” To the fair when we did actually reach the counter the the guy did apologise for the wait, but that’s where the praise ends. The queue waiting time could have been cut drastically had the other 2 staff members not doing much jumped on a till! I handed over my mod phone which was in immaculate condition, I don’t just say this tou have the phone too see for yourselves now, eventually… so after handing over my phone I had to wait nearly 2 hours for them to test it! I mean how hard can it be!? So 2 hours later we returned to the store and went straight to the counter and didn’t have to wait, there were 4 staff members at tills this time?! I handed over my receipt which should have told the staff member what item it was, the looked at the receipt, went to the what I assume is the ‘been tested’ shelf, looked confused and came back to ask me what the item was so I told him. He cam back with the phone and tild me that on test the phone had dropped 30% in 1 minute, I genuinely do not lie, that was his words. I was confused how as I got the phone back from them at 45% and gave it to them at 60% battery?? Anyway, at Costa on the phone I tried to sell I got YouTube on and watched a 5 minute music video, surprise surprise, the battery only dropped 2%. I did t have the time to go back to complain so I did so via Twitter message, got one reply back and that was all it. I told them in the message I will be going to leicester this weekend and will be going to a store there to try. Any who massive story short, I can’t praise the guys at the Beaumont leys store enough, namely Shane L who I dealt with, the phone had no problems and neither did I at the store, It was tested within half an hour and I got the cash I was promised with a smile. Good customer service. Only usually visit for trade-ins so can’t say a great deal about the value and variety of products on sale. Cash trade-ins are a little underwhelming considering the initial value of and quality of the items that were given.

Fantastic CeX store. Been a customer there for 14 years, since it first opened, always great quality products and good prices. Sells games other stores don’t. Always sort out problems if they arise, one of the best CeX stores I have been to.
