Was quoted PS200 pounds (Grade A) for a i9 11900k mini PC that was purchased for PS1100 brand new 3 months ago. This did not include memory or storage that was also installed after buying which I bought separately. Somehow 900 pounds less then new for a product worth PS1100 brand new without storage, ram. Cex says their “Trained pricing team” come up with these prices, and somehow the warranty they provide is worth deducting PS900 pounds off? I understand that I would not receive 100% but however 20% of the value is insane. Have already had offers to sell to someone on Facebook market place for PS900.
Big thanks to CeX for their help with my MacBook issue. They didn’t have the exact Apple cable I was looking for, but they suggested a universal Amazon USB-C to HDMI adapter instead. They were honest and said if it didn’t work out, I could return it for store credit. I also grabbed an HDMI cable from them, and everything worked like a charm. This quick and easy solution got me out of a bind and saved me from an expensive repair shop visit. Great customer service and practical help at CeX!
Located in Fareham precinct (McDonald’s end), store has prime site. Store has always been busy when I have been in. The store is well stocked of games, consoles, phones, etc. The store is mostly clean and tidy – counter a bit cluttered. The team are super, knowledgeable, professional and polite – they provide a great service – explain the process if you are taking things in to sell, etc. Well worth a visit.
