Unlike other branches of CEX locally who have indications of which direction to queue in to be served, this branch allows people to start queuing from both ends of the counter which results in squabbles between customers as to who was next, which I just witnessed. Totally ridiculous. Why let people wait to be served at both ends causing confusion and arguments?

Thanks for your reply. Doesn’t work well if two people were already queuing one end, then people start queuing the other end, with no signage to say which is correct! Particularly as both members of staff were serving in two different positions on the till at the time. There is plenty of room in the North End branch to put a “queue here” sign up and that would avoid any problems but your reply suggests you would prefer to carry on as it is causing confusion?! The Manager said afterwards “we are not usually that busy”. Well guess what, it’s two weeks to Christmas so you will be now so how about telling people where they should queue? It’s not rocket science is it? Very poor customer service from the person who’s replied to my review!
