I have edited a previously poor review. I was sold a grade B broken macbook then a poor one that looked to have had shoddy repairs. The service at the time was really unhelpful; argued that it wasn’t sent that way and the resolution would have left me without a computer while they looked into it. Having to put up with the laptop 12 months later the trackpad stopped working. However I was issued a full refund no quibbles within 30minutes of bringing it in store. Staff was most helpful I felt it was handled really well. I vowed never to return to CeX after the previous poor service however my faith since has been restored. You would be hard pushed to find a decent 12 month warranty let alone 24.
Had to go back to the store three times because of the staffs incompetence. They’re friendly enough but they’re a bit hopeless. I’ll be trying the one in Shirley next time because it was a really stressful experience for me, with anxiety, to have to come in and out of Southampton Central three times because the staff here were really lacksadaisical about their jobs, and I barely even got an apology.
Decent selection of second hand electrical goods – all come with a 1 year warranty which is handy.
Much better at managing lines than they had been in the past. Staff are very friendly and have a good knowledge regarding their products. Certainly one of the better CEX’S in Southampton, would even go to say it’s slightly undervalued.
