Poor customer service. Was waiting a very long time to be served. One lady behind the counter was incredibly rude to multiple customers but luckily I wasn’t served by her. Music was very loud and not entirely appropriate content for a Saturday afternoon especially as I came in with my daughter (3).

I only came in for a lens on my way home from a day in London (not local) as I can’t get it at any other cex closer to home and didn’t want to get it delivered given that my post always goes missing.

Was asked how I was going to transport it home so it didn’t get damaged and I said “in the box I clearly see on the shelf” and was made to feel stupid for asking for the box for the very expensive lens I had just purchased.

I had my extensive range of camera equipment on me and this was obvious as I’ve asked to test the lens before purchase (lady serving was happy to allow this). I was made to feel like I didn’t know how to handle the lens I’d just brought which didn’t sit right.

Would I shop here again – no

Traded in my phone and the assistant told me to wait 45 minutes, so I rushed back to an empty store and the assistant called her manager to do a quick 5 second check (why did I wait 45 mins?), to which the phone value somehow dropped from PS150 to PS90 – the gentleman (who seemed to be a manager) with the long grey hair had the poorest customer service skills I have seen in a while.

He seemed to get frustrated at me for chatting to the lady that worked there, and kept repeatedly saying “why can’t I help you?”, even though I only went to her as she had served me 45 mins prior. I firmly believe this is why he lowered the price, as I swiftly went to the Three store and got PS184…seems the large, long grey haired man either detests his job or he does not want anyone chatting to his female colleague.

I love the Clapham Junction branch. They have excellent customer service, and the layout of the branch is welcoming, clean and well structured. I have sold high premium items at this branch twice now, and on each occasion staff and management members have been extremely assistive and friendly. Special thanks to Ruby at the Clapham Junction branch too. Really patient, kind and professional. The whole team deserve a bonus because I have a few other local branches closer to me (Bromley) but I go out of my way to travel to Clapham Junction because I can always rely on great customer service. Makes my selling (and occasional buying) experience a pleasure. Thanks guys.
