Sometimes take items into the store to sell but recently I’ve found the staff to be quiet lazy when it comes to testing products in the timeframe they say. Today I took items into the store to sell, bearing in mind the testing shelf was empty. Was told it would take an hour and they would call to let me know followed by an email. 4 hours went by and no contact, I reached out to customer service but no reply. This has happened a lot recently and starting to regret selling to this cex store. No professionalism, will probably get told some excuse that there is a backlog or very busy. When it’s empty in store the staff just stand around and don’t seem proactive.

I came to Cex on a Sunday around 16:00pm. To do some trade-ins, thr young lady I was being served by was just so rude, and just had a lazy demear! I even asked her if she’s was already she just looked at me! Came back after half an hour to check my product and I was told another 10mins, after already waited 30mins. No please came back in 10mins, just came back in 10mins. With no explanation. Whether you tired or not, good
customer service, manners and friendliness goes a long way! I hope they do better at Cex galleria Hatfield.

It’s convenient but a rip off if you want to sell them something. They gave me a list of excuses why they couldn’t give me more than PS101 for an item in good condition. (I hardly used it and don’t have much time to sell things through ebay). Yet a couple of days later, it was on sale in the window for PS200. The staff are friendly enough and are most likely only following corporate guidelines but I don’t think I’ll sell anything to them again.

Also, don’t buy DVDs from here, most of them are scratched half way to oblivion.
