Brought a mobile phone down to trade for cash and was originally told I’d get PS66 by one guy but then another said it was being demoted to c Grade because it had screen burn due to the brightness of the screen when I’d been using it. To be honest I could barely see anything wrong with the screen and the brightness levels were as low as possible due to me resetting the phone to factory reset. If you were actually using the phone with the screen at its lowest brightness there would be a point to be made, but at normal level you honestly couldn’t see anything, so it was valued at PS48 instead and then had to wait 40 minutes for it to be wiped even though I’d already reset the phone and deleted everything. The phone had no marks in it whatsoever, the screen had a protector on it which was taken off by the cex guy and underneath the phone was perfect. I’d looked after the phone and it’s boxand I felt that to degrade it to a c was kind of nit-picking because it was originally worth over PS200 and PS66 was a fair amount but to knock 18 off for something hardly noticeable if at all was harsh. A good place to sell something if you need the money, but be prepared to get less than a fair amount.

Placed an order for collection, when i went to collect half the parts from the VR headset were missing! when i pointed this out at the point of the collection the little idiot behind the counter tried to fob me off! saying its sold like this! The processor box was missing and half the required cables for set up!

i pointed this out AGAIN! just to be told.. my manager told me to give it to you like this!

When i questioned the idiot manager hiding round the corner behind the counter, he said he didn’t do this its a mistake! But i could here the 2 of you talking about while hiding! Deliberately trying to sell customers faulty incomplete goods i a disgrace! When i questioned your honesty and asked how you’ve been able to test the goods i was buying with half of it missing? You couldn’t give an answer! You 2 idiots shouldn’t have a job!

All because you simply cant be bothered checking and testing the goods! The matter has been reported to trading standards! Their will be a follow up!

Had the worst customer service in this store, went in with a warranty problem (for context I walked 10 minutes down the road to the other store and was sorted instantly) they had me wait two whole hours for a “check up” only to be pied off for a missing screw, didnt even check the internals just had a glance and lashed it on the shelf, laziest staff and management I’ve ever seen. then when they knew they wasn’t getting away with being lazy, they got the local train station scruffs to try fight with me outside the shop, no help, no accountability, little gang of victims. All them underground basement fumes are definitely not good for there health shut the shop down and save money on rent, idiots
