Great for games, terrible for hardware at least for this store.

Their staff was kind and informative, I just think their practices are subpar.

Tried selling a CPU and got rejected due to it not having it’s IHS, eventhough it’s a laptop CPU and doesn’t have a IHS, additionally they provided a LGA case, but not a PGA case, making transportation of the CPU significantly hardware without breaking.

I tried selling a desktop computer with all the components, except that the hard drive was formatted and didn’t have an OS, which implies they don’t erase hard drives which are sold there which is very bad. Additionally, they wouldnt even test the machine without a kettle cord, which is quite odd. A computer store not having the equipment to test the PC? I had to buy a PS5 cable from a local shop before being asked if the machine even had an OS.

I’m sorry for ranting, but it baffles me how the Computer Entertainment eXchange does not have the equipment to test the very thing they are named after.

They do cheap used parts, but considering the issues I’ve had in the past like being given components with the WRONG specification or being outright broken, I’d prefer eBay for computer hardware selling and buying.

Awesome selection of pre-loved, games, films, computer products, consoles and mobile phones. The staff are friendly and have a wealth of knowledge and are always happy to help. Even though the items are pre-loved they are sold at a high standard.

Went in regarding an issue with a playstation controller. Got great customer service and helpful information! They had a look at my controller even though they didn’t have to and offered a solution that saved me money in the long run!!
