Unhelpful & frustrated member of staff with no help when i wanted a price for my laptop. The lady got annoyed as i didn’t know how to restore my laptop & not have any details left on it. It really looked like the shop was was self owned/self ran & she was untouchable….like many of these petrol stations around which making a complaint would mean nothing, She needed to wind her neck in 7 what an attitude or what!? I youtubed how to do it & returned again…..and again she was frustrated i didn’t follow the steps/procedures. There was a part where i didn’t need to continue & a part where i just needed to skip but it commanded me to fill a part out! I am not computer literate but sort of know how to around PCs in a way.2nd visit she decided to tell/inform me of the procedure at a certain stage/step of what to do. My 3rd visit i managed to damage my laptop on the plastic screen surround on transportation, but the screen was still fine. She wasn’t interested! Not happy. Was quoted PS75 to PS100 approx but now i sold it to a friend for PS50. Very unprofesional,frustrated,angry & annoyed lady….will never go back. What a horrible experience! AVOID! Terrible experience with this store, Brought my GPU there which they first told me they couldn’t accept without a PSU lead. Then I brought a PSU lead for the GPU to then be told they didn’t have the PSU to test it so complete waste of time! I then brought a headset there via drop and go. I asked when dropping it that I put it as A grade headset was absolutely perfect! I heard nothing and checking online it was sitting as I hadn’t dropped anything off. I filled out 2 forms online asking what was going on! I also tweeted support and heard nothing! Then I have a call from the store to tell me the mic wasn’t included. It is built into the headset and they wanted to offer me B grade. This headset it 4 months old purchased for PS330 and they wanted to offer me PS104. I am picking it up today and will never ever use CEX again!

I was trying to sell a pair of AirPods Pro today here but was rudely told that I couldn’t due to the age limit being 18 years old despite the fact that when I checked online for both online and in store selling you have to at least be 16 years old, whereas I am 17.This was updated this year on the website, if stores have specific policies on age I’d appreciate that to be updated on the FAQs page as I don’t want to be wasting my time taking the train to be rejected instantly. I had ID but that supposedly was not the issue. I also sold here last year when I was 15 so it doesn’t make any sense with the age policy.
