Thanks for your reply. I suppose fine print is an old trusted friend for businesses such as CeX.

Tell me this Nikhil, when you go to a shop, and look to buy an item, before you pay for it, do you routinely ask at the counter what the returns policy is? Or would you naturally assume a standard return policy is in place, given the item is in still in the original packaging and not been damaged?
Do you genuinely feel your returns policy is fair?

Beware of this shop, borderline fraud! I bought an item (HDMI cable), and realised it does not fit my computer. Within 30 minutes I was back in the shop to return the item (still unopened), but was told the item is not refundable (?!?) and I can’t get my money back.
I don’t understand how they can get away with this sort of stuff this day and age. Surely this sort of business is not legal…

I think items for sale should be double and triple checked before telling customers it can be sold. My son tried to sell his old phone and was told yes, he just needs an adult to accompany him. I made my way down and showed them the same phone, was also told yes, waited outside for 15 mins while they got the cash ready and when I went back inside they said actually no, the camera is blurry. Waste of time tbh. Should have checked from the beginning.

I’ve used Hatfield and WGC stores and the prices and product’s are what you would expect from a.used / refurbished gaming device store. They will give a basic customer service if there is an.issue but you must remeber they are not an electrical device repair store.
All said it is safer and better using them than buying off FB or ebay.
