I will never be back here ever again I came in with my service dog a member of staff decided to interrupt my service dog during my shopping experience without permission or even asking for permission I played along nicely and showed him a few things she can do but I was very uncomfortable the fact that he came running over to touch my dog when she is in her badges and do not believe that these people get the training necessary to understand not to touch the animal without consent.

I have tried to contact the store in numerous different ways unsuccessfully to try and range a later pick up time with no luck

I then get to the counter and ask for the game that I had already purchased I then get them the confirmation code he then asked for ID which I did not have on me I explained the fact that I am just driven 40 miles for this game and said that I have other forms of identification such as online banking

He then States at a bank statement would be good enough so I go to get one on my phone and tells me now I’ve got to go to one in branch on a sunday as he smiles knowing that they are all shot i have spent alot in cex but that will stop because of this shop as i do not tolerate how they have dealt with this situation and how their staff are completely unaware of what to do when a service dog it is in the store

I do not appreciate being taken the Mick out of And I made that very clear when I was in by telling him what he should do

Im so angry and anoyed how thay just took the mick and made it inpossible what is the point in having a security code I give them if they will not take it and when they asked me to prove who I am they can literally see me log into my bank and see my statement

So technically they’ve stole my item off me because they refuse to give me the item I have purchased when they have proof of who I am such as the correct email the correct details proof of purchase on email and bank statement

And I don’t have my money back or my game I might have to take this further with the police if I do not receive my items as I will not have things stolen from me such as money or game

Went here today to trade in a few items. I was served by a guy called Shoaib. Firstly he didn’t scan one of my DVDs I noticed this once I got home so I went back to let them know, once reading through my receipt again, I noticed one of my other items which was a Lord of the Rings Triology DVD set hadn’t been scanned, it just makes me question if I got the right amount of money which I traded all my games in for. Secondly he gave me some games back which were “scratched” please see the photo of the badly scratched CD. Thirdly he kept looking at his smart watch and more bothered about his messages than scanning my games right. Really unhappy with the service and I’m out of pocket now. Won’t be going back to CEX and will go to Cash Converter instead as they price match their items with CEX.

Tried to sell a couple of items, were told the serial number on one was ‘too faded’ although it was visible and after leaving the other two for testing, came back to be told they couldn’t take them as the analog sticks didn’t work. Took them straight to cash gen who also tested them, fully functioning and bought all three from me for a better price might I add, just frustrating that we had to wait around in the first place. Always seem to have issues with selling items
