Went in today to sell my Hp laptop. The lady took about 10/15mins to check it over, which is fine. She then said I could possibly get PS50-70, but asked me to go and come back in 20mins for the confirmation from her head office or something.
When I got back after 20mins she said they cannot accept the laptop because the serial number on the bottom of the laptop and the serial number showing in the laptop specifications were different. I asked why, she couldn’t give an answer, and asked me where I got it from which was Curry’s. I asked her if the laptop could be a fake, she said no and suggested I sell it at cash converters.

I am not a tech person so when I got home I googled how to check the serial numbers, and the numbers were in fact the same. So not sure why the lady lied to me. They could have just said the laptop wasn’t suitable for them to buy, but lying about it is a bit strange.

So I say all of this because when you’re taking something in to sell, and they tell you why they can’t take it, please ask them to show you exactly what they mean.

Not going back there to buy or sell anything again. Even if it was a genuine mistake, it made them a bit shady, and I don’t trust people like that. Just be careful and make sure you ask for proof of what they are saying!

Sold my AirPods today. When I first come in it went from a grade A to a grade B because of a barely noticeable mark . After I agreed to Grade B and left for testing I come back to hear them tell me it’s a Grade C because the case is marked up. Funny enough there was no marks before testing. Main thing is these AirPods were Mint Condition barely used still with Apple warranty. The tester Bogdan has a lot of bad reviews and is very heavy handed. I know for a fact they purposely scratched up my AirPods to give me lower price and another point he also damaged my Firestick one time and then refused to pay for it. This store is full of liers and thieves I thought I built a good relationship as I sold many things to them but no customer matters to them when making money and robbing people.

This place is the best at making customers mad with their terrible service. Even after I was told they’d replace or refund a faulty Cricket 19 game, they made it a big headache. I showed them proof that the game wasn’t working, but they didn’t care and made me come back the next day. Then, they insisted the game was fine, even though it clearly wasn’t. Eventually, they admitted it was busted but said they couldn’t replace it because it was the last one. When I asked for a refund, they said no and tried to send me to another store to get a new game. I bet they’d just ignore me there too. So now, I’m stuck waiting for a replacement, which they promised to get within a week. My advice? Stay away from this place if you don’t want to get annoyed.
