I’m very disappointed with the customer service with. I’ford store, they have sent me a action camera graded A with missing parts and when I went to my local store in chelmsley wood which was very helpful …they emailed the store in I’ford and they couldn’t even even reply the emails the store manager from the chelmsley wood branch was sending to them , and let me wait more than 2 hours in store with 2 small childrens.
the store manager in chelmsley wood tries to call them several times and they couldn’t even bother to pick the phone up knowing that o was in there waiting for a simple answer. I was happy with the action camera and I wanted to keep it but they have treated me so badly that at the end I have returned it.
It’s a very bad service and they also haven’t been collaborative with the store in the Chelmsley wood Birmingham branch that tried their best to solve a very simple problem.
I wanted to keep the camera but because of their stupidity they have lost PS300 sales. Very disappointed and trust me never shop in this store , very unprofessional and they can care less about customers.

I wish they took some time to clean their stock its not hard to wipe down a case. I honestly do love CEX for video game collecting as they ALWAYS have the best prices (for older games not sure about new gen) but some of the stuff you find in there is SO disgusting , also think it probably contributes to the nasty smell it always has and has had for years. I wish they also had some sort of grading system for games like they do with tech. Why are games with bootleg covers they print in store the same price as if it were mint with the manual. Makes no sense. Its always a gamble when ordering online for games , not just this location but in general cex as a company need more consistency with what they will take in from customers. A lot of their games look like a health hazard. Despite all this though still a great place if you want to collect games , been going for over a decade and majority of my collection comes from this location.

I was harassed in the store by a group of men and none the staff intervened
In fact I was told to leave after defending myself
I was verbally abused and THREATENED and they just stood there

Secondly the whole reason why I was in the store in the first place
They sold me a “Xbox headset” which after trying to pair it with my Xbox for 2 HOURS I realised it was for PLAYSTATION
I traveled all the way back there the same day, they were not apologetic AT ALL about this mistake. guy with the glasses bluntly said “do you want a refund?” which I accepted.
However he failed to tell me BEFORE the refund that the money will not be back to me until 5 days later
This is the 3rd time they’ve sold me either broken or wrongfully false advertised products, this is NOT acceptable customer service or even just HUMAN DECENCY
