Not a rating on the store itself but rather the company. Cex website showed that they had Xbox 360 twin pack rechargeable batteries and cables, 1 in stock at their Whitechapel branch. However, when I went into the store, the customer service assistant went to look for it and came back a few minutes later telling me that a cable was missing or damaged and he could not sell it to me. This was a major inconvenience as I am not local to the area so there was some considerable travel involved and there is no way to call the store or to enquire about their items via phone. They should learn from their main competitor, Cash Converters where they have accurate descriptions on their website, you can search for items at specific stores and finally you can contact specific stores directly to enquire about their items. Not impressed, petrol and time wasted for nothing.

Small store but they have a lot of great, quality items in comparison to others. Had a good experience from the staff here – purchased an adapter from another store that turned out faulty and the boys here tested it and replaced it with another they had. Specifically visited this store to do a replacement and it was a smooth process overall. Had a look around their other items whilst I was waiting and will definitely be back! Easy access from Whitechapel station and local bus routes also.

Just came back from this store, nephews PS4 was acting up that I bought nearly 2 years ago so it was still under warrenty, not sure what they did but they managed to get the PS4 up and running again, they would have offered a replacement if it wasnt working but ideally wanted the ps4 to be fixed since the hard drive had all my newphews games and saves. so well done gone, and great customer service
