Told to wait 2 hours so I decided go home & come back then I was told to wait another 20 mins.

The products I traded in are all grade A products but person who was on marked them down to grade B most of them which is funny because there is 100% no Scratches but i needed the money that day so I just agreed rather than defending my opinion.

Not gonna mention which products but very disappointed especially since 100% no Scratches I always keep all my tech in grade A condition I clean them more than average person & look after them.
Cex normally offers low money and then to get it graded to B and get even less is Outrageous.

Funny thing is I clean my device before I come down and when I’m in the shop the guy mention and reason why he mark out down to grade B the product looked more dirty than what I gave to him.

I’m so OCD so I always know it’s not my dirt because I clean products daily like everyday I also rotation of cleaning clothes and special cleaning products.
Then I also have my UV light to kill bacteria so yea I’m more than average person so u can guess my products would be in A condition.
I really felt the guy Robbed me that day but I had no choice but to accept the offer because like I said needed the money.

I also don’t understand why so many staff and takes so long I’m sure I’ll get a reply defending there store yet I’m not the only customer saying it.

Arrived at Kennedy centre half 9 this morning with 5 bags of stuff to trade in, opening time online was 9. Manager fiddling about inside display window saw me and my bags and I was clearly trying to get his attention to ask when opening was but he ignored. A couple came by and noticed my heavy bags and came and helped and got his attention for the manager to swear through the window at the guy this was a hour later.I understand the weather but why it wasn’t open a hour and half after opening was weird and I was only there to exchange into them.

I’ve had plenty of positive experiences in there which has been tarnished by the manager who in previous times has seemed friendly but obviously he doesn’t like customers

Really annoyed here. My partner bought a phone in CeX 5 weeks ago and it stopped charging 3 days ago. Took it there today for a repair or replacement but they said it was’water damaged’… which absolutely did not happen while he had it. So no repair, replacement or refund.. paid PS315 for it and they won’t do anything about it. It’s disgusting that they wouldn’t do anything for us.. money down the drain and we’re skint enough as it is
