Nice staff in store.

Only 3 stars because:

1) Refused to accept copy of photo ID to pick up a PS1.50 item, necessitating a further trip. (I gather this is CeX policy, but it’s a dumb policy – out of step with other retailers – especially for items of this value).

2) Search/functionality on CeX website is rather basic. (Imdb ratings would help).

3) CeX charges delivery fee on every item. There seems to be no way of bundling up multiple purchases.

EDIT: The CeX responses on 1) and 3) below don’t really address my criticism. They just restate the existing CeX policies.

Went to the Maidstone store to trade in my Apple Watch. The staff that served me was very patient and very helpful. However the manager James was so rude and talked about me openly to the member of staff but never directed any conversation at us. He told his employee to tell us to go away and come back again because he had other people to serve and can not wait around for my phone to reset. I needed the team to help me reset my phone properly as I thought I had previously; however we missed a step. James was very rude, unhelpful and made me feel quite uncomfortable.

Attentive staff and near giveaway prices make this my go-to video merchant of choice. Even if you cannot visually find what you are looking for, just go to the till and ask and they have the means (and the will) to look it up on their computer system and there is a good chance you will be in luck…one such find I wanted was missing its cover but was kindly replaced by a staff member
