Only reason for the 2 star rating is I was told I would have to wait 2 hours for a xbox to be checked only for 1 staff member tell me they would get it done within the hour which they did. Other than that I can say what a terrible experience from the moment I started my interaction. I was trading my Xbox one and they tried every single possible way to give me as little as possible. The concole was purchased over 4 years and i can honestly say it is mint condition as it was hardly used. They 1st told me they wouldn’t give me the boxed trade in price as the controller had a rap on it (never really used either as I have a elite controller) so I said give me the controller so I can remove the rap. They then pointed out the most minimal of marks on the top which I said you must be joking as u couldn’t have even see them without a close look. Also what do you expect for something that is over 4 years old? Lady then said OK I’ll see what we can do. Then the 3rd point was to there joy I didn’t have the hdmi cable. I didn’t have time to go home so after every effort made they managed to get me accept a lower price. I honestly can say I felt like I was negotiating we conartist. Bad experience and will never use this service again! I try my best to keep all my buisness on the high street. Phone contracts, shopping etc however this is a perfect example why more and more people turn to online. A lot less hassle. Ebay for me next time!
My recent interaction with a CEX sales assistant left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. The sales assistant’s behavior made me feel like I was being treated like a thief rather than a valued customer. Their attitude was incredibly disrespectful and lacked any semblance of professionalism. Not only did they fail to assist me properly, but they also exhibited rudeness and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. As someone who values good customer service, this experience was highly discouraging. I hope CEX takes proactive measures to address such behavior among their staff and prioritize providing a positive and respectful environment for all customers.
My lad got too lippy so I had to sell its Nintendo 5 in here. The staff gave me 50 quid for it all. When the wife told me to get it back I saw it in there for 570 pounds. I’m livid, 500 down and the wife won’t look me in the eyes no more
