I used to use the shop a lot when it first opened, I feel the store could do with a revamp. Been the same layout for so long now and usually a queue around the shop on busy times like Saturdays or holidays. I haven’t used it the much lately, there’s one lady called Kirsty who worked her way up and always made my daughter smile when I went in, she would talk to her and make her feel welcome. If only the others were the same. The percentage of profit they get is 50% or over which is ridiculous but they dominate the market now in people trading and selling stuff. They could lower the prices and still make tidy profits, probably make more money if they did because more will pay the prices. At the moment digital is winning and if they keep their prices this high they will eventually go bankrupt. Trust me, fellow gamestation manager of the past here. Been there done it, but that’s to be shared with head office as all prices generate from there.

What a great shop with great staff, visit this store whenever in Cramlington. My son and his friend’s usually leave the shop with a game, gadget or tech bargain price. The staff are a credit to CeX, they fully engaged with my son and his friends in conversation over shared interests and gave excellent advice on where to obtain Pokemon cards as they did not stock them. They are very knowledgable and are great with customers taking time to help even if the item is not in their store.

Used to enjoy visiting here. Now you wait forever to be served while one staff member is on the till and the rest are messing about in the testing station.

Avoid and stick to ebay, these guys just price gouge anyway.
