Appalling store they don’t like to accept goods unless they are in practically perfect condition. They try and downgrade your goods to pay you a fraction of its worth then sell it for three times what they pay you. I guess they don’t understand what second hand means. They won’t take a controller with supposed stick drift but when I bought one from them I could not use it because the drift was so bad.
Most of the staff look like they’d rather be somewhere else and they dress messily and have greasy hair.
If you want a fair deal on your goods go elsewhere.Took PS4 pro to sell and was told it has failed the test because it won’t connect to internet because of error. Brought it home and connected to internet immediately so clearly the problem was their internet but not according to them, or it could just be that they have an abundance of PS4 consoles that they can’t sell so instead of being honest and saying they can’t take anymore at moment they make up excuses, or maybe the staff don’t know what they are doing. Either way CEX has not improved but instead got worse.definitely would recommend going elsewhere if you want a fair deal

Very unhappy, bought a GPS watch (battery on GPS doesnt last a full marathon and dies) came to get a swap or a refund, after they took 45 minutes to test the watch. I was told that annoy swap or refund as whilst they walked around the shop themselves with it on it didn’t drain enough! What kind of test is that!?
Then I got told that I can either SELL IT BSCK TO THEM for 30 cmstore credit or 20 cash… What kind of con are you people playing at!?
Anyway, told the guy behind the till to keep the watch and just walked out of store.
The last time I have ever been through those doors and advice you all to not deal with this company! Warranty is a con!!!
This is a really great busy shop. Great variety of all things technological. A wide selection of games, new and old. Staff are friendly, and they’re quick to serve you, providing there’s not a queue. This shop has an accessible entrance, and there is minimal on street parking. I purchased a Fitbit Sense from here in immaculate condition, very happy. Cex also has a website where you can order from the comfort of your sofa. Delivery times are pretty quick.
