Took in my Xbox X series today for a voucher , was in the queue , one person serving , the only person on tills was struggling on his own so he asked for some help from the guy doing the testing , so he came along served one person in front of me and then I walked up to him to be served he turned his nose up at me and had a big attitude of a voice I can’t serve you I’ve got to much testing to do I am not supposed to be on the tills anyways and walked off in a huff , really not professional at all , I waited to speak to the other member of staff first thing I asked about how long would testing take I was told it would be complete by 4PM this was at 10:30 in the morning. I left and took my business else where it’s a shame as I have always used this CEX loads but this member of staff has completely let it down for me now – (Think member of staff was called Elliot)

Left an iPhone 13 that I was selling at the Carmarthen store overnight for testing. Went back today and the screen has a crack in it, the “Manager” Steve claims it was missed by two staff members who quality checked it the day before so they now won’t be buying it. This damage was clearly caused by staff but they have lied and denied it. Images attached, no way two people would miss that!

Update – CEX maintaining this wasn’t spotted until phone was “wiped” by a third member of staff! Would need an incredibly thick layer of dirt to hide that! Complaints department now suggesting I should have taken photographs before leaving it with staff. This is supposed to be a reputable company but they lie and won’t admit mistakes, instead they blame the customer. Won’t be letting this go. My advice – don’t trust CEX, take your products elsewhere!

I Bought A Laptop Today Which They Said It Was SSD And Then When I Get Home I Try It I Was Checking What Hardrive It Actually Was And It Said It Was A Old One And The Laptop Was Very Slow Like A Sloth And Not Working Properly So I Took It Back To Cex And They Said They Needed To Check What Was The Issue And I Was Wanting A Another Laptop But They Couldn’t Sell Me Another One Cuz They Need To Check The Issue Off The Laptop And Don’t Give A Refund The Worst Place To Buy Electronics Keep That In Mind Everyone They Always Sell Broken Electronics
