Been in twice lately and queued for a ridiculous amount of time (other CEX branches have separate buy and sell lines which is just common sense but not here.

Finally got to the front of the queue and on BOTH occasions, they’d “lost” the DVDs. With one box set, they’d lost half of them – how does that even happen?

Love the CEX concept and pricing but go to another branch – the Reading one is chaotic and most staff seem to prefer chatting to each other rather than serve customers.

Postscript – nice that CEX has replied (albeit a bit cut and paste) but I’m struggling to see how click and collect would magically find the missing DVDs

Really good team working here. What better way to get products that are used with two year warranty at heavily discounted prices locally. Always great range too.
Got an Apple keyboard really low prices. Over the moon about that. Going to download the application and maybe make some more purchases in the not so distant future. Cheers CEX

I have used other used market things that were pure trash, faffing about with deliveries and returns is no fun if strapped for time shop locally and support the local economy and your store is one way to do it.

Boyfriend and I building up our collection and one of the games was clearly cracked. Yeah it’s only 50p but I’ve not been able to find this anywhere and I used to play it as a kid so was buzzing to play it. Then we’ve brought some games in the normal cases and they’ve put platinum editions in there which are worth less than half the value of the original. So annoying and bloody useless. For a game shop they have no idea how to value items or how to take care of the games as they put stickers on the paper.
