I went in today with my son who had purchased an item in December and was now not working. It had a two year warranty and he had been told by online customer service to take it back.
The shop assistant we spoke to was lovely and polite and asked us to come back in half an hour so they could test it. Which we did.

On arrival back to the shop we were told it couldn’t be refunded due to the item that was faulty was a free gift with the actual drawing tablet so there for not eligible. I asked how that was relevant as you needed all the parts for it to work, and customer services had said they would refund.
The manager then popped his head out and abruptly said ” let me see” my son handed him his phone to read. With that he said to his colleague ” put it back on the shelf and give him the money ” he was rude arrogant and his attitude was not what you would expect from a manager.
I did tell him he needed to work on his customer service and he was rude. He didn’t seem to have any respect for not only us but his colleagues.

No apologies, what he should have said was he was sorry for the confusion and then taken it up with customer service himself, not been rude to us throwing his arms around and talking to us or his staff like dirt.

My son is a good customer with this store, but I for one will not being using it again.

BUYER BEWARE, this company/shop are con artists. Purchased a game on 22/12 as a Christmas present, took back 3/1 to exchange it (as they already had it) for a game that cost the same. The shop and two very unhelpful/rude staff members purchased it back at a lower price even though we had the receipt. They then charged the difference for the game we wanted to exchange it for. They explained that they offer a 2 day exchange policy after explaining it was a Christmas present they said it needed to be exchanged before the end of December, I didn’t see any of these policies displayed in the shop. Awful customer service!

I bought a pair of headphones from CEX (not this particular store) and when they arrived they where a different model and different colour and I wasn’t exactly happy.

I ended up going down to this store to see how they could help, and they couldn’t of been more helpful not only did they say they would return it to the original store and send me the pair I wanted they said If that store dosnt have my pair I wanted they will refund me,

I didn’t have to mess around with any emails or mess around on some website they did it all for me and they where all super nice and polite :3 <3
