What a shocking experience! Do yourselves a favour & take your business elsewhere. I bought a game that wouldn’t load, tried twice over 2 days & each time it got to nearly 50gb & then stopped. I got no apology for wasting my time or for the extra fiver I spent on petrol & parking. I was rudely told that they would have to check that I’m telling the truth & that I’ll need to wait 30 mins for them to do this even though I had nothing else to do in town.
I was going to leave & come back next week but then I will have spent PS10 getting a PS15 refund. I also didn’t want hanging over me that I would have to return to this horrible place & deal with its vile employees again. Thank god I never have to again. It’s shops like this that are killing the high street.

Very good shop for video games, new and old. The prices can be a little high sometimes but they make up for this with decent trade in value, if you buy a new game, finish it and trade it back for a voucher within 2-3 weeks you get 70-75% of your money back most of the time which you can use towards the next new game and then you only ever have to pay the PS10-PS15 difference each time, which is far better than buying a new game for PS60 every time, it’s almost like an extended rental service if you don’t intend on keeping the games once you finish them. Friendly and helpful staff, like all of the other CEX shops that I’ve been to.
Awful service, wouldn’t buy my elite controller because the Xbox light up button was a different colour (its a customisable feature on the device that can be changed back, how do the workers not even know their own products) and then when i came back after the testing, said to their colleague they forgot to test it then without testing it claimed the B button didn’t work (even though it does after taking it back and proving so.)
Will not be coming back and appalled with the woman’s service.
