Been to this store several times, constantly long queue times. Also exceptionally picky with everything I’ve ever taken in. Once took my VR in and they said there was a scratch so couldn’t take it. Sold it on eBay with no complaints and nearly double the price I was offered. Also have taken in a mechanical keyboard which they said they couldn’t take because the keys popped off? They at supposed to come off, not with ease and I have never accidentally popped off a key when using it.
Hate this store and always expect the worst when going in.
Despite all that Norwich is becoming a bankrupt city, this place paradoxically allows you to buy used games which I have been buying here for many years. I appreciate the fact that Cex actually stayed in this city and it makes me happy that I can afford to buy used games. Unfortunately, the interior needs renovation and more efficient service, but that’s my opinion. It’s not that important, although it would improve the appearance so that the customer feels like they are in real store and not a “street market”.
Some of the staff are just absolutely awful and a pain to deal with.
Plus they advertise trade-in for cash but barely seem to have any, or offer bank transfer or vouchers.
Only good for people strapped for cash or need cash quick.
The process is quite slow and a nightmare if you have a console with games. I swear they rarely offer you the actual value of your stuff according to the app.
Overall not a pleasant experience
