Can be good with games 9ccasionally. Over price it when trends kick off. You could buy no man’s sky or munecraft brand new for PS20, go to cex and its PS30. Ps4 Controllers brand new are PS40-PS45. Cex sells secondhand, scuffed and scratched between PS40-50. Well over priced. I also have taken items they they deemed broken. Took a working phone there once. Had images of it while on their desk where their registers are. Not scratches, screen perfect. Came back to get the money, the screen was smashed and they blamed me. When I brought up the images and a video of the in their store while handing them the phone, where you clearly see its in perfect condition, they told me to leave. I complained they broke my items to corporate, but they ignored me. I use the same system to test items that they do, and I know they lie and cheat people out of money. I took a hard drive down to cex and they tested it and said there were dead cells, showed them proof of their lies and they refused to listen. I test everything I take and they either try to scam money off you by offering you less then they sell it for 4x the amount you were given. They are con men really. Happy to screw the public and I have proof.

I have been in here multiple times and every time the staff have been utter useless! Yesterday I got a mac book for uni. I asked if it was able to download Microsoft as is was an older generation and that’s all I need it for . They reassured me that I could and it will be great for uni work. To my surprise when I set it all up… I can’t download Microsoft. I was told in store if there was any issues then I have 2 days to return it for a refund. So today I’ve gone back in for my refund and they have declined me a refund, claiming they don’t do refunds and it is a store policy. How is every staff member going to tell me different.

I took my PlayStation in and it was in perfect working order along with some games that they bought off me they had told me they would buy my PlayStation off me after pat testing it for a good amount of money which included 4 controllers and an expensive head set and I went back after they tested my PlayStation and they said one of the controllers wasn’t working even though I tested it all myself before taking it in and it all worked absolutely perfect then they gave me PS10 for my headset and a controller an absolute rip off
