Took my xbox one in to get store credit. I was happy with credit as I actually want to buy a surface from you. They tested it and failed it because it had stick drift apparently. I have tested it myself and there is nothing wrong with it. See photo attached. Upon giving it back they didn’t give me the game I gave them too so had to go back for that and then when I got home I noticed they stole the batteries out of my controller.
Also asked what RAM their surface they had there had. Nobody knew. The guy on till didn’t have a clue about much and googled it. Told me it was either 8gb or 16gb. Bearing in mind the storage was only 32gb I questioned if that was right. Upon much more googling he eventually found it was 2gb. Extremely unhappy with both the testing and this poor knowledge being handed out. If I didn’t question it I would have bought it and then probably wouldn’t be able to get my money back even though he told me the wrong info.

The selection of tech, games and various other items is diverse. Being the last man standing out of Gamestation, Game and Pink Planet, these guys are a godsend for those who enjoy shopping in person still.

I feel confident buying tech from them as it comes with a 24 month guarantee which is far higher than most places.

The prices are competitive but not over the top, sometimes some of their products are the cheapest around. The only downside being that the shopping centre it is housed within doesnt suit for a shop with the prowess of CEX.

I would not buy any electronic items from here or mobile phones etc they con you out of them overall dvds are good but that’s about it. Their prices for phones or computer appliances are disgusting and not worth buying. Absolutely a con. So only getting a 3 star it is okay but not great and they don’t deserve to have a five star rating. Also I must say the staff that work here are very bloody rude. They don’t assist you and welcome you they are very rude. What gets me is people work here with piercings hanging out of their noses and tattoos all over them. It’s a bit(sorry) I’m only being honest.
