Recently when I’ve been buying games, they’ve been filthy and scratched to hell. I’ve bought a couple of games this year that were broken so had to return them straight away. The first time this happened this year, the staff member refused to give me a refund and instead just kept cleaning the disc. Eventually she picked out another disc but yet again it was scratched to hell so she tried a third one. She spent 5 or more minutes cleaning it and then realised it wasn’t even the right game. Eventually she found a decent copy of the game.

Honestly the prices are crazy. I’ve seen games and consoles that are brand new in every other shop, be a lot cheaper than what they are pre-owned in cex.

The amount they give you for buying your stuff is disgusting. It’s pretty much a scam at this point.

Fair prices but worth doing some online comparisons for games but the same can be said for anywhere. Great customer service, great trade in experience. Shame Ashington branch doesn’t have the ability to do more in the PC side of business, motherboards and power supply testing is only done at larger stores when better customer service would offer to have these sent away for testing.

I went into cex a week ago and my phone priced as grade A 101pounds as immaculate.
Needed tested and they didn’t have time.
Went in today sat 7th January and now graded a B grade .valued at 85 pounds .phone has not been out of the box since last assessed.young lad was rude. Left with my phone .I am a hard working nurse.seems like scam to me .
