Very disappointed. I bought a Galaxy s22 ultra for PS405 . Transferred everything from my old phone onto it, but the battery was constantly draining, had to more or less keep it plugged in. No good when your out and about. 2 days later it totally crashed on me. Luckily I was back in my home town and went to the store there. My phone was proven to be faulty and exchanged for another one. I was told that the phone had a long history of being in and out for repairs etc, this was not mentioned at the Scarborough
store, otherwise I would never have bought it. The staff were not very helpful and were obviously just keen to get rid of a dud phone.

I’ll be honest I’ve not had a terrible experience but it’s not been great with this particular CeX especially when trading in. On two occasions the staff have tried to reject what I was trading in for one reason or another as they did not have knowledge on the products I were trading in. These were both products that I had purchased from CeX in the past. Other than that, the staff are super friendly but I feel they do lack in knowledge in some areas but that is understandable since CeX so stock and sell so much stuff!

Left a lap top there to be assessed in good working order, went back 2 days later to be told that it had passed there testing but then when it came to rebooting, it wouldn’t work. Therefore leaving me with a laptop that was no longer working…… they advised me to go and get it fixed at my cost before they would be interested in buying it…..not happy to say the least
