Okay…So after having issues with my last lot of purchases from Cex Swindon, it took a while to resolve but we got there after a couple of weeks (in short, I had a missing game from my case and a rubbish staff experience with one team member)

Takes me an hour to get into Swindon and I tend to buy games and movies in bulk (roughly like 5 games at a time or 5-15 movies). The same guy served me again (I gave the benefit of the doubt) and he managed to put the wrong movies in the cases. Movies like ‘Get Out’ on BluRay I instead got Get Hard. Deathly Hallows part 2 case with Deathly Hallows part 1 movie.

I also had two vouchers to use (from trade-ins) I had the staff member raise his voice at me really rudely and randomly, like, I wanted to say “are you okay?” (which had me quite shocked) when I was confused about how much I had left on my voucher. I was confused because it was just him telling me to PAY PS1.90! Rather than being helpful about how much of my voucher balance I had used. Even just the words “okay so you’ve now managed to use your balance on both of your vouchers and now we just need you to pay X amount by cash or card” the receipt didn’t have a total amount due, just a total item amount quantity. When checking, I visually couldn’t see how much the movies came to in total before paying, only individual amounts (I wasn’t going to stand there with a calculator).

My receipt says Ethan H was the staff member I dealt with (possible staff ID of 60775 too from my last receipt). Just a really rude person with anti-social behaviour. I genuinely walked out a bit upset and embarrassed and then get home to find that two movies are incorrect. Now I don’t feel so bad because he made me feel like an idiot yet can’t seem to put the correct movie in the correct case (on two separate occasions now – only weeks apart)

I’m a really patient and fair person and rarely ever leave reviews but this was my last visit to store 100%.

Last time I didn’t even have a game in a case (just an empty Halo Xbox case).

Anyone reading this, check your cases before going home. The feeling sucks 🙁

Its a difficult one but going to give a positive review . Its because the till queues here take ages. However the staff are nice and helpful and its a great place to get good movies 2nd hand at great prices. Quality of 2nd hand discs are on the whole great!! Sometimes very difficult to get there labels of the products or maybe even all the time

Came to sell my laptop, the guy in the counter said one of my screws is missing, I find and replace it after heading back home, now they’re telling me I can’t sell my laptop because they can’t read the serial number when I can show them through windows. Made me take 2 unnecessary trips just to sell my laptop for nothing
