Probably okay if you have a more popular /newer phone like an iPhone or Samsung, but taking in a phone that’s a little older (that I was promised could be fixed in a few days) was a bit of a nightmare.

There were consecutive failed attempts to fix my relatively simple problem, each time being told the phone was ready for collection (implying the phone had been checked over) and each time the phone still had the same issue, if not worse. I even received my phone back the final time with actual cosmetic damage to it from the repair.

The repair was ultimately deemed ‘not possible’ after making my phone more useless than it was before (plus the cosmetic damage). I’m being generous with this review as the person who dealt with this repair was quite rude when I expressed my disappointment at the time I had wasted on this, being more concerned with the fact I’d said I would leave a review if things weren’t dealt with properly. They did however apologize and give me a full refund, but still, what a waste of time. Don’t take your phone in if it’s not a flagship model.

Lovely team who quickly repaired my laptop screen

I Bought the replacement screen myself on eBay prior to seeking a professional to repair it. I unfortunately went to a nearby very highly rated competitor (who will rename nameless) who refused to repair the laptop claiming that the screen I bought was “too cheap” (62PS) and when I showed him the description he told me “it didn’t look like the pictures”
Essentially I assumed they wanted to buy a replacement screen themselves and make an extortionate markup.

Chorlton Mobile shop fixed the screen in under 24h for a competitive price and the team were friendly.

I would recommend here than other repair centres in Chorlton.

Couldn’t be happier with the service. I am not organised enough to have a back up solution s when my laptop hinge broke it waa a bit of a pickle. The guys made sure I could keep my laptop until the last minute and then got it back to me the next day, all fixed and for a really decent price. Excellent service, thank you!
