The poorest experience I’ve ever had ordering anything online (and I order a lot).

I don’t like writing bad reviews. Like most, if not all other customers, I simply want good service and a good quality product. Then I can post a positive review. Simple.

In this regard, Compadvance couldn’t be worse.

Here’s the summary:

I ordered an item. Email comes with confirmation of postage, but they clearly didn’t have the item in stock. They admitted this over the phone and apologised.

They promised to send it to me via express mail immediately thereafter, but never did (despite asking for a tracking number dozens of times) and then fobbed me off with all kinds of stories about warehouses, suppliers, shippers, delays, etc.

I asked for a refund. They haven’t paid me back. It’s been well over a month.

How hard can it be to simply issue a refund and apology?

DON’T DO IT! I’d give them zero but I can’t! CompAdvance have no understanding or appreciation of consumer rights. The laptop was delivered almost cracked in half but they refused to provide me a with replacement, to fix the product or give me a refund. Supported by the consumer rights agency I did not give up and managed to get my money back through Chargeback; almost 7 months later. If this company try and screw you over I wouldn’t be surprised but keep fighting – contact the Consumer Rights Agency for advice. CompAdvance are selfish money makers that don’t care about their customers. BUY FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE – ITS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.

I did a thorough search on CompAdvance Ltd before I purchased from them.
All seemed OK.
I was very pleased with the swift and efficient handling of my order but was most impressed by the “above and beyond” level of customer service.
Kyle got in touch to inform me if I was planning to use the monitor and pc together I would need an additional lead which they hadn’t got in stock.I ordered one which arrived on the same day as my order.
So no delay in the use of my new gear.
Helpful,knowledgeable staff are an important asset.I hope they are appreciated.Well done CompAdvance Ltd.
